We are proud to be the first manufacturers of M.S. washers in Chennai, a significant achievement that marked a shift from the earlier practice of sourcing these essential components from Calcutta. Our journey began in 1966, when our late father, Shri L. Satramdas, established our unit with just two hand presses (fly presses). Over time, our operations expanded to include 14 power presses and 4 hand presses, supported by a dedicated team of 40 employees.

Our facility is equipped with a comprehensive tool room, along with lathe machines, drilling, grinding, welding equipment, and more, enabling us to meet diverse manufacturing needs.

During my school years, I would head to the factory after classes to oversee production, manage labor, ensure material quality, and supervise packing operations. This early involvement laid the foundation for my deep understanding of the business.

Following my father's passing, I assumed full responsibility for running and maintaining the factory, which we operate under the name Navratna Industries. Located on our own premises, the factory is equipped with power presses ranging from 5 tons to 60 tons capacity and boasts a fully functional in-house tool-making facility.

With over 57 years of experience in this industry, we have cultivated strong relationships with our customers, particularly local dealers. Many of our clients supply directly to prestigious organizations such as the Railways, Transport Department, Port Trust, Ashok Leyland, Royal Enfield, and various other key players in the automobile sector.
